Michael. I am a cousin of Betty's. My mother was Elizabeth Slaton Harris, sister of Betty's mother, Cornell. I just found out that your mother had passed, and that your father, John, had passed away in May. Betty and I were close as children, especially after our family moved back to Madisonville after living in Detroit,Mi. where I was born. My husband ,Ross, had talked to you and John and visited at your shop. So sorry to hear this. I corresponded with your parents at Christmas, and she had called me. I am 80. I was also related to her cousin, Carole, since our fathers, Joe and Sterling were brothers. It was so nice when we could all be together. We also attended the First Baptist Church in Madisonville. I heard about this from Carole. So sorry that I didn't know in time to attend. Wilma Harris Thompson and husband Ross.
