Uncle Leman - you will be missed, very much.  You were a very good human being and you were generous and kind hearted.  I remember a lot of funny stories my dad, who was your older brother by slightly more than two years, use to tell me years ago.  Like the time you and my dad took apart a neighbor farmer's wagon and put it back to together on the roof of his barn.  Don't know if that is really true, but anyway, dad told this story to me.
He also told me how you and him used to fight a lot as young boys (naturally).  Then one day, Cody (your's and my dad's father) MADE you guys fight...to prove a point.  When you guys told him how "dumb" that was, he agreed and said something to the point.."I rest my case"  I remember spending a  good part of the summer of 1966 at your home when you guys lived in Central City.  Leman Otis, Leroy and I would go to downtown Central City and shoot pool and play pinball.  I remember Leroy had a 1953 or so Chevy that barely ran and we worked on it together. And then one day that sumer, I was a guest of Margaret Marie's at Muhlenberg Central High School and rode the bus there with her.  Aunt LaRue was a great cook and I had dinner at your home often back in the day. You and they are all missed very much.  Rest in Peace in the presence of God, Uncle Leman. It will be a sad time when I visit Kentucky again. I wish to extend my most sincere condolences to the entire family.
