Vicki Rhea Peyton

Vicki Rhea Peyton, 71, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at Maple Health and Rehabilitation in Greenville, KY. She was born in Madisonville, KY on June 25,1951 to the late Raymond and Maudie Rash Peyton. 

She was a member of Morton’s Gap Christian Church, she had worked as a secretary for the Kentucky State Forestry Department, and she mapped cemeteries for the Hopkins County Genealogy Society.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joe Chaney.

Ms. Peyton is survived by one sister, Sue Blanchette of Morton’s Gap, KY; a niece, Terry Horn; a nephew, Mark Johnston; and a cousin Sheila Whitaker.

A graveside memorial service will be Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 10:00am at Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville, KY with Rev. Paul Greene officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Parkinson’s Foundation.
