Thula Mae (Carner) Brooks

Thula Mae Brooks, 97, of Madisonville, KY passed away on July 10, 2025 at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home.

She was born on October 18, 1927 in Dawson Springs, KY to the late Oscar Benton and Delcie Ann Carner.

Thula was a member of Earlington Methodist Church and was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Earl Brooks; her son, Barry Lynn Brooks; five brothers; and four sisters.

Thula is survived by her grandson, Robert Bradley Brooks of Benton, KY and nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 12:00PM at Oakwood Cemetery in Earlington, KY with Kenneth Blevins officiating.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 10:30AM until 11:30AM at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington, KY.
