Tenora Dixon went to be with the Lord on January 26, 2018.
She was the daughter of Lemuel and Ada Dillingham. She was born in Mortons Gap, Kentucky, August 6, 1921. She was a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Mortons Gap, Kentucky.
Tenora was preceded in death by her husband, of 63 years, William Wallace “Jack” Dixon, a brother, Harry Dillingham, three sisters: Pauline Brown, Gracie Herbert, and Louise Hamby, and a granddaughter, Emily Carpenter.
She is survived by three children: Charles Dixon, Belinda Oakley, and William “Dee” Dixon Jr, a daughter in law, Carolyn Dixon, son in law, Frankie Oakley, nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 11:00 am at Reid-Walters Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Brewer officiating and burial will be at Oddfellows Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday, January 29, 2018 at 5:00pm to 8:00 pm at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington, KY and from 9:00am until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
