Samuel Clyde Crawford Jr.

Samuel Clyde Crawford, Jr.,59, of Madisonville, KY passed away on December 2, 2025 at his home.

He was born in Stanford, KY on September 22, 1966 to the late Samuel C. Sr. and Peggy Crawford.

Sam was a member of Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church in Hanson, KY.  He loved God, Family and UK Athletics.  He had a great knowledge and love of History, American Indian artifacts, and Genealogy.

He had worked for several years at Western KY Gas and at Associated Engineers where he worked as a surveyor.

Sam is survived by his sister, Angel Crawford Samek and her husband, Jeff, of Madisonville, KY; his brother, John Michael Crawford of Madisonville, KY; one niece, Sidney Crawford; one nephew, Alonzo Crawford and his wife Lauren; two great nieces Cora and Maeve Crawford.

A celebration of life service will be held on December 21, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church in Hanson, Ky with Bro. Gary Taylor and Alonzo Crawford officiating.  A private burial will take place at Old McCormack cemetery in the Spring.

Visitation will be held on December 21, 2025 from 1:00PM until service time at 3:00PM at the church.
