Ruby Gertrude (Hoover) Crick

Ruby Gertrude Hoover Crick , 87 , of Madisonville  passed away on April 16th, 2018 in Owensboro, Ky. She was born in Muhlenberg County, Ky on November 19th, 1930 to the (late) Andrew Curtis Hoover and Eva Hartense Goodman Hoover. 

She was a member of the Vineyard Worship Center in Mortons Gap, Ky.

She had worked as a Homemaker, and she enjoyed piecing quilts, quilting and gospel music.

 In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Wayne Crick, as well as her three brothers , Claude Porter Hoover , Marshall Carlisle Hoover, and Henry Curtis Hoover, and her two sisters, Sarah Lovell McClain, and Betty Lou Rigdon.

She is survived by her sons; Curtis Wayne Crick with his wife Rue, James Randel Crick with his wife Paula, Marvin Henry Crick and his wife Debora, Roger Dale Crick with his wife Lawana, all of Madisonville, and Marshall Edward Crick with his wife Connie of Mortons Gap Ky, her daughter, Brenda Gail Jones, of Madisonville, seventeen Grandchildren, twenty two Greatgrandchildren, four Great-Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be on Friday April 20th, 2018 at 1:00pm at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington, Ky with Rev. Carl Hoover officiating and burial to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Nortonville, Ky.

Visitation will be on Friday April 20th, 2018 from 11:00am until Funeral time at Reid-Walters Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be: Chad Crick, Kevin Crick, Chris Crick, Travis Crick, Cory Crick, and Triston Crick.  Honorary Pallbearers will be: Shawn Crick, Gary Coakley, and Ben Crick.

Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington, Ky is in charge of the arrangements.
