Robert Edward Steele

Robert Edward Steele, 62 , of Earlington, KY passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at his home.

He was born in Hopkins County, KY  on March 12, 1956 to the late Edward Mitchell Steele and Mary Grace Cary Steele.

He was a member of Earlington First Baptist Church.

He was a veteran of the United States Army.

He had word worked as a machinist for American Mine and Tool.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons: Jason Edward Steele and Michael Edward Steele.

He is survived by his wife, Etha Steele of Earlington, KY; his son, Kevin Steele and his wife, Miranda, of Madisonville, KY; his daughter, Angel Steele of Madisonville, KY; his step son, Kevin Jason Kestner of Harrisburg, PA.; one sister, Christine Steele Osborne and her husband, Bob, of Owensboro, KY; one brother, Wesley Steele of Madisonville, KY; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at  11:00 am at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington, KY with Rev. Matthew Williams officiating and burial to follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.

Visitation will be on Monday, October 15, 2018 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm and from 9:00 am until service time on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at the funeral home.
