Rev. Jerry C Easley

Rev. Jerry Cortez Easley, 79, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Friday, October 16, 2020 at his home.

He was born in Princeton, KY on October 20, 1940 to Cortez Easley of Princeton, KY, and the late Imogene Easley. 

Rev. Easley was a member of Suthards Baptist Church. He was a Pastor for 57 years having served several churches in Caldwell, Crittenden, Webster and Hopkins Counties and had worked at Houchens Save A lot in Madisonville, KY.

He was a Past Master Mason and belonged to E.W. Turner Lodge in Earlington, KY and was a Kentucky Colonel. Rev. Easley loved his grandchildren.

Rev. Easley is survived by his wife of 57 years, Judy Easley of Madisonville, KY; his father Cortez Easley of Princeton, KY; two sons, Michael Easley and his wife Joy of Madisonville, KY and Jerrod Easley and his wife, Tammy, of Princeton, KY; one grandchild, Bryan Goff and his wife Lacy of Mortons Gap, Ky and two great grandchildren Riley Goff and Blake Riley  and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday, October 19, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Suthards Baptist Church in Suthards, KY with Bro. Sam Haulk officiating and burial to follow at Suthards Baptist Church Cemetery in Suthards, KY.

Visitation will be on Sunday, October 18, 2020 from 4 PM until 7:00 PM with Masonic services at 6:00 PM, and visitation will be held on Monday October 19, 2020 from 10:00 AM until service time at 2:00 PM at Suthards Baptist Church in Suthards, KY.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Goff, Brian Ruffin, Darwin Rideout, Dylan Baker, Todd Oliver, and Roger Osborne.

Memorial contributions can be made to Baptist Health Hospice at Baptist Health Foundation 900 Hospital Drive Madisonville, KY 42431 or the South Hopkins Fire Department at P.O. Box 201 Mortons Gap, KY 42440.
