Nancy Lou Burden

Nancy Lou Burden, 81, of Madisonville went to be with her Lord and Savior due to natural causes on May 14, 2025.  Nancy was born to the late William & Una Fike. She attended Covenant Community Church and enjoyed being actively involved with her church family. 

Nancy dedicated her life to being a Christian School teacher, a homemaker, and the best Nana. She enjoyed studying the Bible, working puzzles, reading, and cooking. She loved rainy days, pink flowers, lighthouses, tea parties, and the color green. Nancy devoted her life to caring for her family.  

Nancy is survived by her devoted husband of 54 years, Roy Burden; son David (Kathy) Gallaway; grandchildren Brooke (Matt) Wadley, Austin Gallaway, Hunter Gallaway, Josh & Matthew Burden and their mother Lana Burden; great grandchildren Carter Wadley, Kennedi Wadley, Hadlie Gallaway, Addi B Wadley, Laynie Gallaway. 

Preceded in death by her son "Little" Roy Burden II, sister Joyce Fox, as well as other beloved family members. 

Graveside services will be held at Old Salem Cemetery in Morton's Gap on Monday, May 19th at noon. Bro. Kellan Lamb will be officiating the services. Pallbearers are Austin Gallaway, Hunter Gallaway, Josh Burden, Matthew Burden, Matt Wadley, and Carter Wadley.

Reid-Walter's Funeral Home of Earlington, KY are in charge of arrangements.
