Margaret Elaine Putty

Margaret “Momma Putty” Elaine Putty, 80, of Anton, KY passed away on January 19, 2026.

She was born on November 1, 1945 in Chandler, IN to the late Marvin and Sarah Allen.

Margaret was of the Christian faith. She loved her family. Maragret loved to cook and feed her family and friends. She was a very caring person.

Margaret had worked in the cafeteria at Madisonville North Hopkins High School for twenty-five years.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas “Bryan” Putty; her sister Marilyn McLeand; her brother Michael Allen; and twin grandbabies.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Chrissie Putty of Anton, KY; two brothers Mark Allen and his wife, Jackie, of Illinois and Ricky Allen and his wife, Debbie, of Stringtown, KY; caretakers; Damien Elkins, Destiny Elkins, Octavia Allen, and Jasmine Allen; and many other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 2:00PM at Pritchett’s Chapel in Madisonville, KY with Pastor Steve Terry officiating and burial to follow at Hicklin Cemetery in Anton, KY.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026 from 11:00AM until service time at 2:00 PM at the church.

Pallbearers will be Damien Elkins, Octavia Allen, Destiny Elkins, Jasmine Allen, Andy Allen, and Mike Allen.
