Joseph Jerome Crofton

Joseph Jerome Crofton, 76, of Rockport, IN formerly of Madisonville, KY passed away in Evansville, IN on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. 
He was born to the late James Miller Crofton and Mildred Louise Ashby Crofton in Madisonville, KY on December 16, 1946. 
Joe was a member of the Life Christian Center, in Madisonville. He had retired from Kentucky Department of Corrections where he had worked as a guard, and he had also worked at Colonial Coal Mine for twenty-seven years. He loved Genealogy and guns. 
Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Crofton; two sons; Joseph Jerome (Ami) Crofton II, of Rockport, IN and Daniel Campbell of Madisonville, KY; two grandchildren, Alexandria Lynn (Chase) Duke and James William Crofton, two great grandchildren, Dathen Winters and Caroline Duke. 
Funeral services will be Friday, March 31, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Reid Walters Funeral Home, Earlington, KY with Rev. Chase Duke officiating and burial to follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville, KY. 
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00PM Friday March 31, 2023 at the funeral home. 
Memorial contributions may be made to " Backpack Blessings" at Life Christian Center, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
