Jerry Milton DeMoss

Jerry Milton DeMoss, 81, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Western Kentucky Veterans Center in Hanson, KY. He was born in Madisonville, KY on October 3, 1935 to the late Calvin and Hilda Gish DeMoss. 

He was of the Baptist Faith.

He had served in the United States Air Force

He had worked as a coalminer at Fies Mine.

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia DeMoss and his son, Tony DeMoss.

He is survived by his daughter, Sherry Gray and her husband, James Gray Jr. of Breman, KY; his two sons, Jeffrey DeMoss of Henderson, KY and Darrell DeMoss of Earlington, KY; two sisters, Glenda McKinney of Fruit Hill, KY and Faye Coakley of Mortons Gap, KY; two brothers, Donald DeMoss of Madisonville, KY and Darrell DeMoss of Mayfield, KY; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 1:00pm at Reid Walters Funeral Home in Earlington, KY with Rev. Charles Dixon officiating and burial at Clearview Cemetery in Vandetta, KY.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 10:00am until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be: Ray Wells, Jay Campbell, James Gray III, Arron DeMoss, Travie Knight, Jason Armour, and Holly Scott.
