A letter from Mr. Reynolds daughter, Bonnie:

My Daddy, James Andrew Reynolds, passed away peacefully in his sleep Wednesday, January 11, 2023. He was born to the late Andrew and Geneva Reynolds on July 29, 1942 in Rabbit Ridge, Kentucky.

He was the oldest of eight boys, and is preceded in death by four of his brothers; Thomas Reynolds of Hanson, KY; Dennis Reynolds of Madisonville, KY; Paul Reynolds of Springfield, MO; and Joe Lee Reynolds of Madisonville, KY.

He is also preceded is death by his wife of 40 years, Dianah Mae Epley Reynolds.

James is survived by his daughter, Bonnie Crawford (Gerry), grandson Christopher (Ellen), granddaughters Desiree (Justin) and Alyssa (Korbin), great grandchildren Emma, Evan, Aubrey, Thea, Braylee, and Cire Laine, and three brothers Carol Wayne Reynolds, Randall Reynolds, and William Reynolds, and many nieces and nephews.

Daddy was a man who wore many hats in his 80 years on this earth. He was a farmer, a gold miner, a mechanic, a carpenter, and a snake wrangler, but the "hat" he enjoyed wearing the most was being a grandpa. His grandchildren and great grandchildren were his pride and joy. In the last 20 or so years he spent his spare time tinkering around with small engine repair in his backyard workshop, enjoying morning coffee with his faithful friends Leo and Donho.

Thank you in advance for your condolences and understanding as my family learns to mourn the loss of the Patriarch of our family.
