Frank Wright

Frank Wright, 85, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Sunday, January 25,2025.

He was born on April 18, 1940 in Earlington, KY to the late Ernest and Luthearl Wright

Frank was a devoted long time member of the Earlington First Baptist Church in Earlington, KY where he was a Sunday School teacher.  He was a retired Director of Emergency Management, was an amateur radio (HAM) enthusiast “KA4IGR”and enjoyed watching Westerns.

Frank had worked for York / Siemens as an Electrical Engineer.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Ernest “Buck” Wright, Jr. and his sister, Ernestine Dorris.

Frank is survived by his wife, Helen Wright of Madisonville, KY; three children, Teresa (Jim) Wooten of Nebo, KY, Allison (Travis) Wallace of Hanson, KY and Frank (Tonya) Wright Jr. of Cornersville, TN; two sisters, Sudie Wright of Earlington, KY and Mary Ann Wright; five grandchildren, Ryan Wooton, Frank “Austin” Wright, Mason Wright, Harlee Wallace, and Jessi Wallace; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026 at 1:00PM at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington, Ky with Bro. Matthew Williams officiating and burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Earlington, KY.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026 from 11:00AM until service time at 1:00PM at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Wooten, Frank “Austin” Wright, Mason Wright, Travis Wallace, Troy Gossett, and Nick Bailey.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Earlington First Baptist church.
