Dorothy N (Baize) Wells

Dorothy N. Wells, 76, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.

She was born on April 24,1949 in Madisonville, KY to the late Edgar Lee Sr. and Mabel Baize.

Dorothy was a member of Abundant Grace Fellowship in Madisonville, KY.  She had retired from the VF Factory Outlet in Hanson, KY where she had worked for over twenty years.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Peggy Fugate and two brothers, Edgar Lee Baize Jr. and Donnie Baize

Dorothy is survived by her husband, Ray Wells of Madisonville, KY; two children, Stacey Wells of Madisonville, KY and Alan Wells and his wife, Wendy, of Newburgh, IN; two sisters, Sharon Wells and her husband, Jerry, of Nortonville, KY and Martha Hughlett of Nortonville, KY; two grandchildren Allie Wells and Christian Wells; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Abundant Grace Fellowship in Madisonville, KY with Pastor Danny Wix officiating and burial to follow at Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 12:00PM until service time at 2:00PM at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Abundant Grace Fellowship church.
