Antonia M. Harris Oglesby Carter

Antonia Harris Oglesby Carter, 73, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at Ridgewood Terrace in Madisonville.

She was born in Louisville, KY on November 28, 1947 to the late Fred E. and Helen Harris. 

Mrs. Carter was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Madisonville, a 1965 graduate of Madisonville Highschool; and she was a retired Registered Nurse and had worked many years at Regional Medical Center, Brighton Cornerstone, and Ridgewood Terrace.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Wayne Carter in 2016; her son, Kevin Oglesby; one brother Mitchell Christopher Harris; and a niece, Stephanie Harris.

Mrs. Carter is survived by three sisters: Kathy James and her husband, Bill, of Madisonville, KY, Martha Heltsley of Defiance, MO, and Marsha Morse of Madisonville, KY; three brothers: Michael Harris of Madisonville, KY, Steve Harris and his wife, Shirley, of Slaughters, KY, and J.D. Harris of Hopkinsville, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside memorial service will be held 10:00am on Friday, August 13, 2021 at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville, KY.
