Wanda Lee (Anderson) DeTalente

Wanda Lee Anderson DeTalente,72, of Holden, LA passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at her home. She was born in Evansville, IN on October 2, 1944 to the late Edward and Faye Anderson. 

She was a homemaker and was a member of Unity in Christ Church in Madisonville, KY.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Douglas DeTalente, Jr. in 2014; and her sisters.

She is survived by her husband, John Birkla of Holden, LA; her five children: Rebecca Docksteader of Holden, LA; Shannon Faye Hurley of Slaughters, KY; Cristi DeTalente-Alexander of Holden, LA; Charles Edward Smith of Florida, and Douglas DeTalente of Holden, LA; sixteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 2:00pm at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington, KY with Rev. Steve Stone officiating and burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Earlington, KY.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 10:00am until service time at the funeral home.
