Thomas Lawton Plunkette

Thomas Lawton Plunkette, 60, of Eddyville, KY passed away on September 2, 2017 at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY. He was born in Madisonville, KY on November 14, 1956 to the late Curtis and Shelby Moore Plunkette. 

He had attended Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church in Kuttawa, KY; He was a United States Navy veteran.

He had worked as a welder and crane operator at Metal Fab in Calvert City, KY.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers.

He is survived by his wife, Buna Plunkette of Eddyville, KY; two sons: Lawton Alan Plunkette of Calvert City, KY and Danny Ben Plunkette of Paducah, KY; one brother, Tim Plunkette of Madisonville, KY; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 11:00am at Reid Walters Funeral Home in Earlington, KY with Rev. Eric Nelson officiating and burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Earlington, KY.

Visitation will be on Monday, September 4, 2017 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm and 9:00 am until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
