Shawn E. Hawes

Shawn E. Hawes 50, of Mortons Gap, passed away on March 17th, 2018 at 5:57a.m. in Baptist Health Hospital in Madisonville Kentucky. He was born in Joliet IL. on October 26th, 1967 to the (late) Billy Joe Hawes and Monafae Webb Hawes. 

He served in the United States Navy

He was a member of Mortons Gap Christian Church, in Mortons Gap KY.

He had worked at USAA Teletec.

 In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Joe Hawes, and Roy Cooper, his stepmother, Neal Hawes.

He is survived by his spouse, Mylyn Hipolito of Mortons Gap KY, his son, Brandon Hawes of Mortons gap KY, his three sisters, Cindy Barber of Earlington KY, Ramonna Nyoka Hawes of Madisonville KY and Candy Barney of Oklahoma, four step brothers, Gary, Billy, Danny, and Vernon Holland as well as several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be on Thursday March 22nd 2018 at 6:00pm at Mortons Gap Christian Church in Mortons Gap, KY with Bro. Steve Sandefur officiating.

Visitation will be on Thursday March 22nd 2018 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at Mortons Gap Christian Church.
