Randall "Short Ride" Lee Bennett

Randall “Short Ride” Lee Bennett, 67, of St. Charles, KY passed away on May 6, 2017 at his home. He was born in St. Charles, KY on June 17, 1949 to the late Benton and Mattie Walker Bennett. 

He was of the Christian faith.

He had worked as a coal miner for Pyro Mine.

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Diana Lynn Miller Bennett in 2016; a sister, Jane Chaney; and a brother, Warren Bennett.

He is survived by his two children: Shawn Bennett and his wife, Leslie, of Evansville, IN and Brent Matthew Bennett and his wife, Kacy, of Madisonville, KY; one sister, Rebecca Brandon of Dawson Springs, KY; two half-sisters: Phyllis Mashburn of Madisonville, KY and Ruth Lenko of Newburgh, IN; one half-brother, Wally Ware of Madisonville, KY; five grandchildren: Drew Bennett, Skyler Hawkins, Mattie Bennett, Dixie Scott, and Katlin Hawkins; one great grandchild, Kinleigh Hawkins; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private.

There will be no visitation.
