Mildred Pauline (Hawkins) Davis

Mildred Pauline Hawkins Davis, 93, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at her daughter’s home in Madisonville.

She was born in Earlington, KY on January 3, 1925 to the late Charles Leslie Hawkins and Anna Rhye Hawkins. 

She was a longtime member of Earlington Assembly of God church. She taught Sunday School and had been a member of TOPS.

She was a homemaker, and during WWII she had worked at Servall Airplane Factory.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Thomas H. Davis on February 9, 2004; her son, Gary K. Davis; and two sisters: Bonnie Clevenger and Lucille Wagner.

She is survived by her four children: Vicki J. Davis of Madisonville, KY, Pamela Garst and her husband, Rodney, of Madisonville, KY, Judy Teague and her husband, Robert, of Providence, KY, and Thomas D. Davis and his wife, Teresa, of Madisonville, KY; one daughter in law, Shelia Davis of Madisonville, KY; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington, KY with Rev. Nathan Bruce officiating and burial to follow at Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville, KY.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and from 12:00 PM until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be: Bryan Garst, Jason Davis, Larry Stearsman, Rodney Garst, Dwight Allen, and Rev. Nathan Bruce.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Robert Teague.
