Leslie Wright Gossett, 77, of Hanson, KY passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018 at Deaconess Midtown in Evansville, IN.
He was born in Madisonville, KY on May 18, 1941 to the late Dewey Gossett and Jean Hickman Gossett.
He was of the Methodist faith.
He had retired as a coal miner for Peabody Coal Mines and retired as a truck driver for Tysons.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Robbie Blanchard Gossett; his daughter, Debra Priest; and his son Leslie “Les” Dwayne Gossett.
He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Suttle and her husband, Harlan, of Madisonville, KY; three sisters: Anna Kelley of Hanson, KY, Patty Gossett of Madisonville, KY, and Dawn Rickard of Madisonville, KY; two brothers: Herschael Gossett of Madisonville, KY and Wayne Gossett of Madisonville, KY; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Monday, October 22, 2018 at 1:00 PM at East Lawn Cemetery in Hanson, KY.
Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington, KY is in charge of the arrangements.
