Kenneth Don Dalton, 72, of Nortonville, KY passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018.
He was born in Mortons Gap, KY on June 2, 1946 to the late Clifton Dalton and Carrie Binkley Herbert.
He was a member of The River.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and a veteran of the Vietnam War.
He had worked as a truck driver for Averitt Express.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Karry Dalton and a sister, Edna Morgan.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Dalton of Nortonville, KY; his five children: Tina Marie DeMoss and her husband, Donnie, of Nortonville, KY, Lisa Gayle Stanley of Salem, KY, Richard Leo Watkins and his wife, Amy of Madisonville, KY, Kenneth Roy “Bam” Dalton of Evansville, IN, and Jeremy Don Dalton of Nortonville, KY; three sisters: Judy Skinner of Earlington, KY, Cindy Faulk of Madisonville, KY and Patsy Floyd of Louisville, KY; six brothers: Errol Gene Dalton of Madisonville, KY, Clarence Dalton of Coiltown, KY, Danny Dalton of Madisonville, KY , Alford Dalton of Clarksville, TN, Brian Herbert of Florida, and Joe Herbert Evansville, IN; thirteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 2:00 PM at The River, located at 1580 Nortonville Rd. in Nortonville, KY, with Pastor Howard Jones officiating and burial with military rites performed graveside by the Hopkins County Honor Guard to follow at Old Salem Church Cemetery in Mortons Gap, KY.
Visitation will be on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 12:00 PM until service time at The River.
