Eva Nell (Edmonson) Phelps

Eva Nell Edmonson Phelps, 82, of Nortonville, KY passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home in Madisonville, KY. She was born in Muhlenberg County, KY on December 24,1934 to the late William Morris and Martha Elizabeth Benford Edmonson. 

She was of the Holiness faith.

She was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin “Bill” Speed Phelps in 2003; one daughter, Debra Kay Watkins; and one son, James Roger Phelps.

She is survived by her daughter, Janet Teeters of Nortonville, KY; two sons: Mark Phelps of Nortonville, KY and Eddie Phelps of Madisonville, KY; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 2:00pm at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington, KY with Rev. Taylor Phelps officiating and burial to follow at Shaw Gamblin Cemetery in Nortonville, KY.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from 11:00am until service time at the funeral home.
