Dillmond Franklin Johnston

Dillmond Franklin Johnston, 78, of Earlington, KY passed away on April 8, 2017. He was born in Madisonville, KY on January 2, 1939 to the late Herschel and Aretta Dunning Johnston. 

He was of the Christian faith.

He had worked in public works for the City of Earlington.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Johnston in 2000; step-sons, Roger Kemble, David Kemble; step daughter, Sue Scott; son in law, Jeff Moore; brother, William E. Johnston; sisters, Geneva Adams and Mary Lois Emery.

He is survived by his daughter, Vickie Moore of Earlington, KY; two step-daughters, Linda Williams of White Plains, KY and Jessie Haire of Henderson, KY; two step-sons, Jerry Kemble of Mortons Gap, KY and Billy Kemble of Matthews, IN; one sister, Susie Gates of Madisonville, KY, two grandchildren: Jeff Moore and Joe Moore both of Earlington, KY; twenty-eight step- grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private.
