Darrel "D.W." Wayne Qualls

Darrel Wayne “D.W.” Qualls, 74, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at St. Thomas Hospital West in Nashville, TN.

He was born in Madisonville, KY on January 17, 1943 to the late William Jewell and Essie Idela Westerfield Qualls. 

He was a Deacon of Earlington First Baptist Church.

He had served in the United States Marine Corps.

He was retired from AT&T and worked for GM Telcom.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Spurlin Qualls of Madisonville, KY; his daughter, April Lynn Williams and her husband, Wade, of Earlington, KY; his son, Dusty Qualls and his wife, Stephanie, of Mayfield, KY; and four grandchildren: Trevor Williams, Aaron Qualls, Lyndi Qualls, and Lauren Williams.  

Funeral services will be Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 11:00am at the Earlington First Baptist Church in Earlington, KY with Rev. Matthew Williams officiating, and burial to follow at New Salem Church Cemetery in Nortonville, KY with military rites performed graveside by United States Marine Corp and Hopkins County Honor Guard.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the Earlington First Baptist Church in Earlington, KY, and from 9:00 am until service time on Thursday at the church.

Pallbearers will be: Wade Williams, Trevor Williams, Aaron Qualls, Job Mondesir, Darren Stewart, Jon Kincaid.  Honorary Pallbearers will be: Earlington First Baptist Church Deacons.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Earlington First Baptist Church Building Fund.
