Carolyn Sue (Evans) Burdick

Carolyn Sue Evans Burdick, 75, of Mortons Gap, KY passed away on Monday, December 11, 2017 at Baptist Health Madisonville.

She was born in Evansville, IN on February 9, 1942 to the late Theodore Houston and Virginia Bell Cain Evans. 

She had worked at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Kenneth Burdick in 2014; a brother, Ted Evans; and a sister, Joyce Shelton.

She is survived by her daughter, Mandy Huckleberry of Vienna, IL; her son, Steven Denny and his wife, LeeAnn of Mortons Gap, KY; two sisters: Sandy Stoner of Evansville, IN and Glenda St. John of Booneville, IN; one brother, Steven Evans of FL; two grandchildren: Jered Huckleberry and Jonathan Huckleberry; three step grandchildren; eight step great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 1:00pm at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington, KY with Bro. Terry Bowman officiating and burial to follow at Salem Church Cemetery in Mortons Gap, KY.

Visitation will be on Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 11:00am until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be: Steven Denning, Roger Thomas, Jeff Kemble, Jered Huckleberry, Jeramie Doyle, and Jonathan Huckleberry.
