Carmon Carter Follin, 101, of Mortons Gap, KY passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Hamilton Pointe in Newburgh, IN.
She was born in Dawson Springs, KY on January 31, 1917 to the late George Ersley Carter and Amanda McNeely Carter.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Mortons Gap. She was a Women’s Missionary Union member; and a Sunday School and Bible School teacher for many years.
She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Follin in 2005; her brother, Jewel Carter; her sister, Margaret Nutt; a son in law, Jerry Rogers.
She is survived by her daughters: Glenda Follin of Spring Hill, TN and Phyllis Rogers of Newburgh, IN; a granddaughter, Traci Maze and her husband Scott of Ft. Worth, TX.; three great grandchildren: Miles, Matthew, and Macaul Maze, and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington, KY with Rev. Scott Maze officiating and burial to follow at Old Salem Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Mortons Gap, KY.
Visitation will be on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
