Barbara Allin (Tirey) Fugate

Barbara Allin Tirey Fugate, 81, of White Plains, KY passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017. She was born in White City, KY on January 20, 1936 to the late Jim and Hena Mae Townsell Tirey. 

She was a homemaker and was a member of New Lakeside Church in Mortons Gap, KY.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Shelby Fugate on September 25, 2008; her sisters: Gordy Osborne and Nora Ipock, her brothers:

 Charles Tirey, Paul Tirey, and Kenneth Tirey, and her grandparents: John and Rebecca Tirey and John and Mary Townsell.

She is survived by her four daughters and sons in law: Frankie and Terry Barnes of Mortons Gap,KY, Vickie and James “Sweetum” Dugger of White Plains, KY,  Jill and Chris Melton of St. Charles, KY, and Mae and Jimmy Cobb of White Plains, KY; her two sons and daughters in law: William Ernie and Rhonda Fugate of White Plains,KY, and Jackie and Myra Fugate of Dawson Springs, KY; one sister, Marie Jones of Mortons Gap, KY; and ten grandchildren:Shelly Lane of Nortonville, KY, Jeff Fugate of Dawson Springs, KY, Joey Fugate of Dawson Springs, KY, Chris Barnes of Mortons Gap, KY, Joshua Fugate of White City, KY, T.J. Rager of White City, KY, Jay Dugger of White Plains, KY, B.J. Cates of White Plains, KY, Aaron Fugate of Madisonville, KY, Brandon Rager of Nortonville, KY; eighteen great grandchildren: Gabe Faulk, Gracie Faulk, Laken Swallow, Isabella Melton, Jesse Lane, Kaitlyn Fugate, Ryan Fugate, Alexis Rae Barnes, Dylan Barnes, Hunter Fugate, LJ Fugate, Christian Rager, Chloe Dugger, Ashdyn Dugger, Jase Dugger, Weslyn Rager,Jasper Rager, and Brylee Fugate; and eleven step great grandchildren..

Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 2:00pm at New Lakeside Church in Mortons Gap, KY with Bro. Terry Barnes officiating and burial to follow at Old Salem Church Cemetery in Mortons Gap, KY.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 from 10:00am until service time at the church.

Pallbearers will be T.J. Rager, Jay Dugger, B.J. Cates, Brandon Rager, Joey Fugate, and Aaron Fugate.  Honorary pallbearer will be Shelly Lane.
