Anna Deloris (Braden) Hancock

Anna Deloris Hancock, 65, of Mortons Gap, KY passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2020.

She was born in Madisonville, KY on August 26, 1954 to the late Leman and Anna LaRue Braden. 

Mrs. Hancock was a member of Mortons Gap Second Baptist Church; she was a homemaker; loved her flower and vegetable gardens and her dogs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Richard Allen Hancock, Jr.; her brothers: Leman Otis Braden and Leroy Braden; and a sister, Margaret Payton.

Mrs. Hancock survived by her husband of 47 years, Richard Hancock, Sr. of Mortons Gap, KY; three children: Christopher Hancock, Sr. of Mortons Gap, KY, Joseph Hancock and his wife, Misty, of Mortons Gap, KY and Jerald Hancock, Sr. and his wife, Amanda of Mortons Gap, KY; four sisters: Vickie Cranor of Madisonville, KY, Brenda Payton and her husband, Franky, of Graham, KY, Janice Hancock and her husband, Frankie, of Nortonville, KY,  and Debbie Guy and her husband, Ronnie, of Madisonville, KY; two brothers: Tim Braden and his wife, Faye of Mortons Gap, KY and James “Boo” Braden of Nortonville, KY; seven grandchildren, several step-grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington, KY with Rev. James Biggers officiating and burial to follow at Old Salem Church Cemetery in Mortons Gap, KY.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be:  Joseph Hancock, Jerald Hancock, Sr. Jerald Hancock, Jr., Chaseton Hancock, Jakar Bell, and Bruce Gibson.   Honorary Pallbearer will be Cassandra Hancock.
