Timothy Franklin Smith

Timothy Franklin Smith, 66, passed away at Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville, in Madisonville Ky, Sunday February 18th, 2024. 

He was born on October 10, 1957 in Pennsylvania to Junior & Joyce Smith. 

Timothy was a Painter by trade, and an avid fan of NASCAR and the Dallas Cowboys. In his spare time, he loved watching Westerns, spending time with his Grandchildren to whom he was 'Pepaw' and his dog, Bailey. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his partner of 25 years, Kathy Lynn Moore and his daughter, Chasity Dawn Smith.

Timothy is survived by his son, Timothy Lee Smith, sister, Mona Smith, brothers Billy Smith, and James Smith, all of Murfreesboro, TN, stepdaughter, Brittany McCoy (Eric) of Mortons Gap, Ky and stepson, John Moore (Allison) of Madisonville, KY. In addition to his siblings and children, he is survived by his nieces Cassie Miller (Sandrell),   Tiffany Smith, and Juanita Smith of Nashville, TN; nephew, Michael Smith of Florida.; great-niece and nephew Kyla and Keyshawn Miller, of Murfreesboro, TN, and grandchildren Colton Issac Smith, of Murfreesboro, TN, Mykayla Paige Smith, of Dickson, TN, Kelsie Bogle, Peyton Bogle,  both of Lebanon, TN, Brielle McCoy, Atleigh McCoy, Audreigh McCoy, and Asher McCoy, all of Mortons Gap, Ky, Hannah Taylor (Teddy) of Princeton, KY, and Sadie Moore of Madisonville, KY. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
