Phillip Adrian Lantaff, 76, of Nortonville, KY passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Ahava Healthcare in Clarksville, TN.
He was born in Madisonville, KY on April 5, 1947 to the late Alton and Lucille Lantaff.
Phillip was of the Baptist faith, a member of UMWA, and was formerly a Mason. He had served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam veteran. He was a retired coal miner and a retired auto mechanic at Lantaff’s Garage. Phillip enjoyed dirt track racing and building race cars. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, his son, William “Billy” Lantaff and his grandmother, Mattie Campbell.
He is survived by his two daughters, Elizabeth Cavanaugh and her husband, Jeremy, of Nortonville, KY and Rachel Grace and her husband, Brent, of Nortonville, KY; one sister, Trish Stewart and her husband, Denton, of Richland, KY; three grandchildren, Katelyn Cavanaugh, Kendall Cavanaugh, and Parker Grace; and two nieces, Tiffaney Reynolds and her husband, Erik, and Meghan Barron and her husband, Josh.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington, KY with Pastor Bill Stafford officiating and burial to follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville, KY.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Brent Grace; Parker Grace, Jeremy Cavanaugh, Denton Stewart, Erik Reynolds, and Josh Barron. Honorary Pallbearers will be Roger Grace.
