Anna Gean (Parker) Cotton

Anna Gean Cotton, 84, of Lawton, OK, formerly of Mannington, KY passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at her home in Lawton, OK.

She was born in Mannington, KY on Friday, March 10, 1939 to the late Elmer “Red” and Ethel Mae Parker. 

Anna attended Good Hope Church in Nortonville, KY. She was a homemaker, had attended Nortonville School, and she enjoyed fishing, cooking, and playing with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis W. Cotton in 2008; her sisters, Retha Mae Parker, Joyce Evelyn Parker, Janette Marie Parker and her brothers, Dowell “Jr.” Parker, Aubrey Lynn Parker, and Danny Lee Parker.

Anna is survived by her daughters, Belinda Pickerel and her husband, Tony, of Madisonville, KY, Teresa Smith and her husband, Richard, of Lawton, OK; her sons, Jeffery Cotton of Central City, KY, Kerry Cotton and his wife, Stacey, of Mannington, KY; Jewell Cotton of Providence, KY; Gene Cotton of Mannington, KY; Michael Cotton of Hopkinsville, KY, and Dwight Cotton and his wife, Tracy, of Mannington, KY; her sister, Noretta Clark of  Barnsley, KY; her brother, Ronnie Parker of Madisonville, KY; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington, KY with Pastor Larry Phaup, Bro Dwight Cotton, and Richard Smith officiating and burial to follow at Good Hope Church Cemetery in Nortonville, KY.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 1, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Steven Cotton, Kendel Cotton, David Cotton, Joey Smith, Kenneth Pleasant, Brandon Cotton, Ethan Cotton and Jeremiah Cotton.
