Martha Betsy (Whittinghill) Stansberry

Martha Betsy Whittinghill Stansberry, 85,  passed away suddenly on March 14, 2017. She was a 31 year resident of Fairfield Plantation, GA. Born April 12, 1931, she was the daughter of Remus and Ada Favors Whittinghill of Evansville, Indiana.

Betsy was a Bossie Bulldog for life, and enjoyed many of her Class of 1949 reunions- including one held last year. A former operator at Indiana Bell telephone company, she also spent many years working as a substitute teacher at Douglas County High School in GA.

She was proceed in death by her husband Victor Stansberry Sr in 2009.

She is survived by her sons: Victor Stansberry II , Richard Stansberry and Rodney Stansberry; grandchildren: Jennifer Stansberry Smith, Elizabeth Stansberry Mitchell, Elisha Freeman, Victor Stansberry III, Rodney Stansberry Jr; great grandchildren: Toby and Heaven Smith, Kamdyn Stansberry and Henry Stansberry.

Services will be held graveside at Oakwood Cemetery in Earlington, KY April 8th at 12:00pm.
