Linda Sue (Wells) Parker

Linda Sue Wells Parker, 76, of Mortons Gap, KY passed away at Baptist Health Madisonville on Tuesday, April 25, 2017. She was born in Hopkins County, KY on July 30, 1940 to the late Allie and Thelma Suthard Wells.

 She and her husband, Bobby, had owned operated Parker’s Machine and Welding in Mortons Gap, KY.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene Parker in 2016; and her brother, Phyllis Wells.

Mrs. Parker is survived by her two daughters: Lori Gatton of Bremen, KY and Linda Grace of Pelham, NC; one sister, Yvonne Starks of Mortons Gap, KY; her six grandchildren:  Sara Knowles, Katie Jackson, Jacob DeMoss, Jennifer Grace-Bruegman, Matthew Grace, Jarrett Grace; six great-grandchildren: Hannah Cartner, Alex Cartner, Hunter DeMoss, Eli DeMoss, Lily Grace, and Ivy DeMoss; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 28, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington, KY with Bro. Jacob DeMoss officiating and burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Madisonville, KY.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm and from 10:00am until service time on Friday at the funeral home. 

Pallbearers will be: Kenny Starks, Neil Rodgers, Larry Buckingham, Jarrett Grace, Chris Jackson, and Gaylon Rodgers.
