Edna Mae (Walker) Perkins

Edna Mae Walker Perkins, 89, of Madisonville, KY was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Baptist Health Madisonville. She was born in Hopkins County, KY on November 9, 1927 to the late Albert and Kallie Bean Walker. 

She attended Madison Avenue Church in Madisonville, KY.

She was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Eugene Perkins in 1982; one brother, Albert Walker, Jr.; two sisters, Mable Teague and Dorothy Sisk; and a grandchild, Kendra Schrelle Hayes.

She is survived by five daughters: Anne Hayes and her husband, Kenny of Madisonville, KY. Brenda Morris of Madisonville, KY, Debra McGregor of Madisonville, KY, Donna Todd and her husband, Jeff of Madisonville, KY, and Denise Roe and her husband, Troy, of Clay, KY; two sons: Larry Perkins and his wife, Rebecca of Barnsley, KY and Terry Perkins and his wife, Suzanne of Nebo, KY; one brother, Roger Walker and his wife, Carolyn of St. Charles, KY; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews including three special nieces: Janie, Janice, Debbie and one special nephew, Ronnie Walker whom she helped raise.

Funeral services will be Monday, August 7, 2017 at 1:00pm at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington, KY with Rev. Steve Stone officiating and Rev. Jeff Todd assisting and burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Earlington, KY.

Visitation will be on Monday, August 7, 2017 from 11:00am until service time at the funeral home.
